Sue Gleeson began to paint in 2005, initially making acrylic abstracts. During the first week of the Expressive Arts Practitioner program at the Haliburton School of the Arts, she discovered her favourite medium: watercolour crayons.
In her life coaching work Sue began introducing clients to painting using acrylics and watercolour crayons. In 2009, she had the idea of illustrating quotations with paint; Finding the Pathway Home is a coffee table book featuring some of her favourite creations. In 2011, Sue self-published her second book, Healing Soul Misery: Finding the Pathway Home. The same year, she created a product called Relationship Value Cards, which she uses with her life coaching clients.
